Bio:

Murtaza is a PhD candidate in the School of Computing and Information Systems at the University of Melbourne. His research focuses on privacy amplification and trust-aware personalization in decentralized and federated learning systems, with particular emphasis on developing frameworks that enable secure collaborative learning across heterogeneous environments.

Prior to his doctoral studies, Murtaza worked as a Software Engineering Analyst at Goldman Sachs, where he led the development of complex systems and improved workflows through strategic tech alignment.
